About me
Hi, I’m Michael. Nice to meet you!
Michael
I’ve been in game development for the last four years before diving into Freelance mode, had my hands on 6 games in total. Prior to the game dev jobs, I’ve worked as Linux sysadmin and DevOps guy for roughly 15 years. Software development is great - but automation is still fun!
Next to the game dev jobs, I wrote “C++ Game Animation Programming, 2nd Edition” and “Mastering C++ Game Animation Programming”, both published by Packt.
I’m holding a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the FernUniversität in Hagen with a focus on computer graphics, parallel programming, and software systems. The M.Sc. was also done next to my full-time jobs.
